Traveling with family
Infants
Infants may travel with Air Inter Iles by St Barth Executive from 7 days old up to and including 2 years of age, provided they have a valid passport (recommended). If this is not the case:
- A medical certificate from a paediatrician is required, stating that the infant is fit to travel in an unpressurised aircraft on the date of travel.
- Parent's identity document
- Birth certificate
- Receipt for the application for an identity document in the infant's name, if possible.
Info: Children under 2 years of age travel with a 90% discount on the original price on their parents' lap, but must still have a reservation and a valid ticket. The number of babies accepted on board is limited to 2.
The infant's ticket includes 12kg of luggage, 1 pushchair or 1 maxi cosy of your choice.
Accompanied children
Until the age of 11, each child must be accompanied by an independent adult aged 18 or over, their father, mother or legal guardian.
If children are travelling accompanied but without their parents, they must present an authorisation to leave the country.
Unaccompanied minors (UM)
Children aged 7 to 17 may travel alone under certain conditions:
Make a reservation with our Travel Desk, purchase a UM service and complete the form provided by the team. The service is currently only available on the Pointe-à-Pitre–St Bart and Pointe-à-Pitre–Marie Galante routes at certain times.
Conditions for Acceptance of Unaccompanied Minors:
- Departure stopover: A St Barth Executive agent will accompany the UM from the check-in area to the aircraft, where they will be seated behind the co-pilot's seat, shown in first and entrusted to the captain. Please note that there will be no cabin crew on board.
- The parent accompanying the UM must wait 15 minutes after take-off before leaving the airport.
- Arrival stopover: The UM will disembark last and will be handed over by the pilot to a ground agent who will escort them to the arrivals hall, where they will be handed over to the person responsible for collecting them.
- Persons accompanying or waiting for the UM must remain contactable throughout the service.
- The UM must be able to carry their cabin baggage alone (otherwise, the baggage will be checked into the hold at the applicable rate).
- Identification: the original identity document of the accompanying person will be required at departure and that of the person waiting at arrival. Their name, address and telephone number must be included in the UM's booking file.
Restrictions:
- Animals: UMs are not allowed to travel with animals, either in the cabin or in the hold.
- Direct flights only: The UM service is only available on our direct flights.
- The UM's shoes must fit securely on their feet. For safety reasons, flip-flops, clogs, flip-flops or other similar footwear are strongly discouraged.
Please note: UM tickets are subject to special pricing and a quota of 2 UM per flight.
