Empty Leg Flights
Empty Leg Operations Policy & Conditions
Empty-leg flights, also known as ferry flights, offer a unique opportunity to access private aviation at reduced rates.
These flights occur when an aircraft repositions without passengers to operate its next scheduled mission or return to base.
As a result, empty legs may be offered at preferential pricing compared to standard private charters. Pricing depends on several factors, including route, number of passengers and optional services such as pet transport or dedicated catering.
Due to their nature, empty-leg flights offer limited flexibility. Schedules, routes and timing are determined by the original charter and may become available 24 to 72 hours prior to departure, or sometimes only a few hours before.
Should the original charter client modify or cancel their flight, the corresponding empty leg may be cancelled or rescheduled accordingly.
St Barth Executive does not provide alternative arrangements in such cases and cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from changes or cancellations.
All empty-leg operations are conducted in full compliance with applicable legal, contractual and regulatory requirements, including insurance coverage and operational safety standards.
