Certification obtained for two technicians on TECNAM P2012 STOL

Air Inter Iles, the new airline created and operated by St Barth Executive, dedicated to the connection between St Barth and the Guadeloupe archipelago, announces a major advancement in the preparation of its new air route between Pointe-à-Pitre and St Barth. With the upcoming arrival of its new TECNAM STOL P2012 aircraft, the company has reached a crucial milestone: the certification of its first two B1.1 aeronautical technicians specialized in this aircraft model.

The new TECNAM P2012 STOL: a gem of technology

Air Inter Iles has chosen to integrate the TECNAM P2012 STOL into its fleet to specifically meet the unique requirements of inter-island travel in the Caribbean, particularly due to its exceptional ability to land and take off on very short runways. The TECNAM P2012 STOL, equipped with advanced technology and the most efficient avionics tools, is ideal for challenging terrain and variable weather conditions. With a capacity of 11 seats, this aircraft not only offers a comfortable space for passengers but also allows for cost-effective operation. Additionally, its low runway length requirement enables it to connect smaller airports such as those in Les Saintes or Saint Barth. A fleet choice that reflects Air Inter Iles’ commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the passenger experience in the region.

Qualification obtained for two of our maintenance technicians: a guarantee of safety and reliability

The recent B1.1 qualification of our first two maintenance technicians on the TECNAM P2012 STOL after three intensive weeks of theorical and practical training marks a significant milestone in Air Inter Iles’ commitment to safety and operational excellence. This technical certification is essential to ensure that all maintenance and inspections of our aircraft are carried out to the highest standards. It provides our technicians with the necessary skills to perform advanced checks and address the full range of mechanical and electronic systems of the aircraft.

This qualification is essential for us to ensure maintenance that meets the highest levels of standards and to assure our clients that their flight will operate under the best safety conditions.
